B-Roll

B-Roll is an extra footage that can be used to illustrate
the main story-line. Example: If a person is talking about
a new school, the B-roll will include video of the new school.
Most of the Television documentary and reality shows require
transcription of the extra footage with simple narration.
This will give good reading experience to the story readers.

Unless until specified, we follow the below
standard notations and document rules:
•We transcribe verbatim. We type whatever
heard including umms.. ahhs and pauses
•Doubtful words will be marked (?)
in the beginning and end part of the doubtful sentence
•Times New Roman will be used as standard
font
•One to one interviews transcribed
as question and answer format without identifying names
•Indiscernible parts of audio are marked
as (Indiscernible) in the transcript.
•Time coding/Stamping done only upon
request.
•Nouns and Proper Nouns will be transcribed
to the best of judgment, it is denoted by first letter in
capital
•We follow standard US spelling and
style.

The number of hours required
to do a job depends on the clarity of the material and the
amount of specialized terminology used. Broadcast-quality
material takes less time to transcribe whereas hard-to-hear
material takes more time to transcribe.
After receiving the materials,
we immediately check it for clarity and transcription difficulty.
Then we provide you an estimated price and turnaround
time before we start any job. We do a better job than
anyone else with hard-to-hear material.
Dense material with a lot
of technical, business, financial or computer terms usually
takes seven to eight hours of work per hour of audio
. Focus groups with multiple participants and overlapping
conversations may take 10 hours per hour of audio to transcribe
and proofread.
Broadcast-quality material
usually results in 100% accurate transcripts. Lesser quality
audio results in a decline of accuracy. But with extra effort,
we can generally achieve 98% accuracy or better on most material.

your audio or video into any number of formats, which can
be downloaded from Web sites, broadcasted over intranets,
or played back from CDs, VCDs and CD-ROMs. We convert audio
and video into the three major formats:
- Real Media
- Windows Media
- MPEG (MP3 for audio, MPEG-1 for video)
We also undertake audio typing
and tape transcription of mini, micro, standard and mini disc
tapes, plus digital DSS and WAV sound files. The material
we transcribe includes conferences, speeches, investor calls,
training tapes, radio shows, etc.
Our prices for digitizing
and encoding are the lowest on the Web. The cost for audio
and video encoding is $20 per hour of material. For audio,
the price includes digitizing, editing, compressing and encoding.
For video, this price is for straight digitizing and encoding.

Audio Restoration and Forensic Transcription

our forensic transcription. We can digitally boost low volume
recordings, eliminate electrical hums, reduce hiss, equalize
voices and reduce echoes and background noises.
We deliver the restored audio,

Please note that all tapes

High speed tape duplication

If you need cassette copies
of your tape, we can duplicate them with our high-speed tape
duplicator. A copy of a tape can be made within six minutes.
Copies are slightly softer than their originals. So, we recommend
only good quality tapes be duplicated in this fashion. The
price is $2 per cassette copy with volume discounts available.
